Wanda Benvenutti

is a Seattle-based freelance photojournalist. Her photographs have appeared in many publications including The Washington Post, The New York Observer, and The Seattle Times. Her work is also featured in the new book 100 New York Photographers by Cynthia Maris Dantzic and the national exhibition for Beggars and Choosers: Motherhood is Not a Class Privilege in America by Rickie Solinger.

She received a B. A. in English and Latin American Studies from Oberlin College (1994) and an M. S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism (1995), where she completed the first photography master's project in the school's 98 year history.
